This project involved the renovation of a 140 sq. m rental property located on the second floor of a 1980s residential building in Melissia, Athens. The owner was unable to rent the apartment due to its neglected appearance. The renovation transformed the outdated space into a contemporary home.
The kitchen was redesigned, with old cabinets replaced by new ones, and the demolition of one wall opened the kitchen up to the dining area. Both bathrooms underwent complete renovations. A modern design for the fireplace was implemented, and plasterboards were installed to create new shelves.
All electrical and plumbing systems were updated, and the windows and shutters were replaced to enhance insulation and energy efficiency. Additionally, the original marble and oak wood floors were refurbished to restore their beauty.
